…as Plants and Cornerstones (Psalms 144:12)

‘A Chinese bamboo tree takes five years to shoot out of the soil and grows 90ft tall in five weeks after it germinates’

A man heard of this and jokingly said he would remove the seed and plant something that will grow quickly if he sees that it didn’t germinate after two weeks.

Isn’t that how we all are?

The world is in a constant rush and we don’t have the patience to wait for certain things again.

Once we see that something doesn’t get a fast result, we opt for others; failing to realize that we need to wait for some things.

How many times have we lost opportunities because we were impatient?

King Saul was given a simple instruction to wait but he didn’t and we all know what it cost him. Most times, the consequence of being impatient is usually so enormous.

Are you waiting on something that seems far-fetched?

Keep on waiting, it will eventually come.

Everything is in due process.

Job faced a lot of hardships but he waited patiently for God to come to his aide and God restored to him double of what he had.

Have you asked something from God and it’s taking too long to come even though you know it’s coming?

Just hold on.

Waiting is hard but the cost of not waiting is dire.

Maybe it’s time for you to keep on waiting and with good attitude.
